Page Sponsors: Photographer Bio: Daniel Forster  Max Ranchi, a photographer specializing in yacht racing, was born in Trieste, italy in 1964. He started to be involved profesionally with photography as a studio assistant in Waimea, on the Big Island of Hawaii. There Max met American photographer Brett Weston. Max accompanied Brett on various photoshoots, learning how to play with shadows in black & white tecnique. Back in Europe, Max studied photography at the Blake College in London and got his diploma in 1994. Now based in Italy he works for corporate sponsors, team photographer and yachting magazines worldwide. In addition to yacht racing photography Max is often sought after by sports clothing companies to shoot catalogs and brochures. |
